The green pistachio of Tossignano
Heir to a niche Italian production, pistachio was born in Persia and with a life cycle of up to 300 years, it is one of the longest-lived productions recently grafted in Santerno Valley.
Under its shell it contains a bright green pearl, used both shelled and peeled, as well as in pastries or as a condiment for first and second courses.
